Smart Temp Australia P/L have a long standing and well deserved reputation for producing innovative and attractive A/C controls. As the wall thermostat is the most visible and often used part of the A/C system, it is essential that the thermostat is accurate, easy to use and looks good on the wall.
This often becomes a difficult goal to achieve when designing a thermostat as each person has different needs and opinions on what is easy and what may be confusing. What functions are necessary and what functions are simply not needed and therefore should not be provided. This makes selecting the correct thermostat for a project a difficult process and one very easy to get wrong.

The Chameleon has been designed with this in mind, that is to be a single thermostat with multiple personalities. One product that fills all needs of all the people in a building - or simply the needs of one person in a house.
The user is at any time able to select various operational modes such as 7 day 4 event programmable mode,7 day 2 event programmable mode, Day/Night manual mode or one event On/Off manual modes, with both residential & commercial programming logic. This ensures that all users needs are met, all the time - every time.
An DIP switch also permits the installer to match the control logic of the Chameleon to that of the A/C equipment perfectly, whether 3 speed fan or single fan speed is required, Heat Pump or Heat cool logic. One thermostat in the service van is all that will be needed and perfect for all jobs.
A PIN protected installer menu has an impressive list of 30 software adjustable options. Items such as temperature and button locks can be enabled, filter monitor periods, run on timer values for example are just a few of the advanced capabilities that can be adjustable by the installer to further tailor the Chameleon to the specific instillation requirements.
The Chameleon is so clever, so simple and so attractive it will be the last thermostat you should ever need to buy.
